Vitruvius wrote that architecture was a combination of firmity, commodity and delight. Without all three of these aspects architecture does not exist. Various combinations of these create sculpture, buildings or ruins but only arrangements of structure, function and delight create architecture. Conversely it must be stated that architecture is not design. Architecture is not structures. Architecture is not theory, professional practice, materials and methods of construction, history, business or heating and ventilation systems, nor is it poetry. Clearly it is all of these and more for us at PREPA.R.E.
